Stephen Davalos

A native Angeleno, Stephen has always had a passion for community with the strong belief that nobody should get left behind or be forgotten. His experience leading people in theatre, bakery kitchens and faith spaces has led him to building community in the nonprofit world. At L.A. Works, Stephen is the vice president of External Affairs, where he leads the corporate engagement team by fostering trust and equity between corporate partners and local nonprofits. Stephen looks to build community internally as well. Through his leadership roles on the DEI and Strategic Partnerships task forces, he works to lead the team in creating a more inclusive and just Los Angeles.
