Lori Shinton
Affiliate Assembly Liaison, U.S. Southeast Region President & CEO, Hands On Nashville (U.S.)Lori Shinton earned her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. With over two decades of professional experience and over a decade of executive leadership in state government and nonprofit organizations, she brings authenticity to the table. Shinton joined Hands On Nashville in 2015 as Vice President of Operation and became interim CEO before being appointed as CEO in August of 2016. Shinton is known for change management, coalition building and “turn around” operations. She successfully led Hands On Nashville out of a crisis period, and led stabilization of the agency while growing programming under her tenure.
