Mary Prosceno
Service organizations rely on the dedication of consistent and dependable volunteers. Luckily for the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware, Mary Prosceno fills this role.
For the past six years, Prosceono has served nearly 900 hours for the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House Charities help families stay together when a child goes through medical treatment. Her weekly shifts typically consist of checking five to six families in and getting them comfortable, giving them a tour and gathering whatever the family may need during their stay. She also helps package meals and checks families out once they are ready to go home. Prosceno commits 3 hours a week to helping these families feel at home during a difficult time.
