Kyle Wurtzel
Kyle has done a lot for the GlamourGals organization. GlamourGals is a 501©3 nonprofit whose mission is to foster compassionate learning in teens while striving to end loneliness in senior citizens.
Teen volunteers visit local senior homes on a monthly basis to give complimentary makeovers and manicures to residents.
Kyle began helping the organization by encouraging his younger cousin to start a chapter of GlamourGals in Syracuse, IN. He further contributed by volunteering at the fundraising events. Kyle traveled to Chicago and New York and financed both trips independently. In addition, Kyle donated ad space on his nostalgia funny car, worth five thousand dollars, to create awareness for the organization.
Kyle helps out by bringing public awareness to the mission of GlamourGals—ending elder loneliness and helping to build positive teen leaders. Because of his efforts, the group has more chapters in the Midwest and a new demographic of people have shown an interest in the GlamourGals group.
Kyle’s volunteer work is special because GlamourGals is primarily a female organization. However, as a male, he donates his time, energy and talents to further GlamourGals cause.
