Dr. Jeanne Mather

Retired college professor Dr. Jeanne Mather has a long history of service, including voluntarily teaching Spanish once a week to fifth graders for the past two decades. She is also the cofounder of Books for Tots, which she developed with one of her college students at The University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma in 1998. The organization has given out more than 100,000 new books to children in need.
