Dates, Rates and Hotel

2025 Points of Light Conference Dates
  • Dates: June 3–6, 2025
  • Location: New Orleans Marriott, 555 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. Book now.
  • Welcome Reception: June 3, 6 p.m. CT
  • Conference Activities: June 4-6, concluding at noon on June 6
Group Rates and Additional Opportunities for Discounted Registration
  • Group Rates: 10% off for groups of five or more from the same organization.
  • Exhibitor/Sponsorship Opportunities:
  • Scholarships: Sign up to receive a notification when scholarship applications are posted.
  • Volunteer Registration: 40 volunteer registrations are available at a discounted rate. Volunteers work a minimum of one four (4) hour shift during conference.
Registration Rates

Registration fees vary by attendee type. All general sessions, workshops, Civic Talks and service projects are included in the registration fee.

Registration Types

Below is some guidance on how we define each registration type:

  • Corporate: Business, Corporate and Corporate Foundation representatives.
  • National Service: Active AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, Service Year and Peace Corps members and active or retired military.
  • Nonprofit/NGO/Government: Nonprofit, Non-governmental organization or government agency representatives.
  • Volunteer: Volunteers receive a discounted rate in exchange for working a minimum of one four (4) hour shift. Filled on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to 40.
Accommodation
  • Host Hotel: New Orleans Marriott, rates start at $199/night.
  • This 4-star hotel is nestled in the heart of the vibrant French Quarter, offering easy access to the city’s iconic attractions. Book your room while the group rate lasts.

Main stage sessions and Civic Talks will be recorded for registered attendees and distributed post-conference.

Closed: Call for Workshop Proposals

The call for workshop proposals was open from Oct. 28–Nov. 15, 2024, and has now closed. Presenters will be notified of decisions by early February.

Policies

Cancellation and Subsitution Policies
  • Substitutions: If you can’t attend, you can substitute your registration with a colleague until 5 p.m. ET on May 31, 2025. The original registration must be paid in full. Email [email protected] with the new attendee’s first name, last name, and email address.
  • Cancellations: Partial refunds are available for cancellations made before 5 p.m. ET on May 31, 2025. A $100 processing fee applies. No refunds for cancellations after this date.
  • Process: All requests must be in writing and emailed to [email protected]. The cancellation date is the email date. Confirm receipt of your cancellation.
  • Refunds: Credit card refunds are processed upon approval. Bank processing may take additional time. Check refunds are issued within 60 days of the request.
