Nicole Long

Nicole Long has spent the last year volunteering at South County Outreach, whose mission is to prevent hunger and homelessness. South County Outreach has more than 250 regulary scheduled volunteers and more than 1,500 who help serve those in crisis. Long has a passion for those who are struggling in our community – families, the underemployed, unemployed, seniors, veterans and especilly the children.

Long has completed administrative tasks, secured silent auction items for a volunteer recognition luncheon and fundraising event and volunteered at the fundraising event. She has been a student ambassador in the community, educating the business community about the agency and securing much needed support.

South County Outreach could not do the good work that we do in the community without community support. Long truly has a passion for those who are less fortunate and wants to put a roof over the heads of the less fortunate and make sure no child goes to bed and wakes up hungry.
