Amanda Erwin
Safe House Ministries in Elberton, GA provides assistance to victims of domestic violence and homelessness. Amanda Erwin is a volunteer with Safe House Ministries and displays an extreme degree of professionalism and integrity throughout her endeavors with them. Amanda has also been a Corporate Sponsor in their fundraising for the past 3 years and will lead the Motorcycle Charity Ride she planned as her fundraiser for them and the Children's Miracle Network. She exudes a confidence and willingness to tackle any and every task. Her attention to detail is unmatched.
Amanda is also very active in the Miss America Scholarship Program. She was recently crowned Miss Chattahoochee 2008. This honor has allowed her to attract an even larger audience in her efforts to end the cycle of domestic violence. As she prepares to compete in the Miss Georgia Pageant, an honor that could lead to her competing for Miss America, she uses her crown as a microphone to captivate individuals throughout the state of Georgia.
She is also a most dependable team player. Her good judgement and mature outlook ensure a logical and practical approach to her endeavors. Amanda challenged many as individuals to have focus and ambition.
Amanda was chosen as the Volunteer of the Year in 2006 because of her community service. She incorporated "A Safe Way Out – Stopping the Cycle of Domestic Violence" with the Safe House Ministries. Amanda worked to provide funding for this program so she could continue her work in ending the cycle of domestic violence.
