Points of Light and CSR Solutions of Colorado Recognize The Civic 50 Colorado 2019 Honorees
In partnership with CSR Solutions of Colorado, Points of Light announced The Civic 50 Colorado 2019 honorees, recognizing the 50 most community-minded small, medium, and large companies in the state as determined by an independently administered and scored survey. Modeled after Points of Light’s national program, this first statewide initiative provides a framework for good corporate citizenship, and showcases how local companies are moving social impact, civic engagement and community to the center of their business.
“Companies have an enormous role to play in creating a society where it is easy for people to create positive change,” said Natalye Paquin, president and CEO, Points of Light. “The honorees of The Civic 50 Colorado show that these businesses can create an incredible impact on the communities where they live and work. Expanding The Civic 50 allows us to celebrate and elevate stories of community engagement and impact. We are pleased to honor these Colorado companies.”
The Civic 50 Colorado honorees are public and private companies operating in the state and are selected based on four dimensions of their community engagement program – investment of resources, integration across business functions, institutionalization through policies and systems and impact measurement.
The Civic 50 Colorado honorees were officially recognized at the B:CIVIC Summit on Thursday, September 19 where Natalye Paquin, Points of Light CEO, gave the keynote remarks.
