Terri’s professional journey in the nonprofit sector spans over 30 years, reflecting a deep commitment to volunteerism and community engagement. Her early work with The Nature Conservancy in Arizona set the stage for her expertise in volunteer management. This experience expanded when she relocated to Oregon, taking on a leadership role as manager of Volunteer Programs for a city Park District.

In 2006, Terri returned home to Ireland and joined Volunteer Ireland (VI), where she now manages their corporate volunteering program. In this capacity, she oversees large-scale corporate partnerships, helping businesses engage in impactful employee volunteering initiatives. Her work facilitates strong connections between businesses and communities, offering strategic support and fostering meaningful collaboration.

As a member of VI’s senior leadership team, Terri contributes to shaping the organisation’s direction and enhancing volunteering efforts across Ireland. She is also actively involved in the global volunteer community through the POL Affiliate Network.

Terri’s passion lies in creating innovative, high-quality volunteer programmes that bring people and businesses together to foster thriving communities. Her dedication to meaningful partnerships, both locally and globally, underscores her mission to generate positive, sustainable impacts through volunteerism.
