Conference on Volunteering and Service Attendees Fill Backpacks with Supplies for Students in Detroit Metro Area

Attendees participated in the General Motors Service Project throughout the 2016 Conference on Volunteering and Service, packing 5,000 backpacks in support of the students of Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties. The backpacks, each containing school supplies and healthy snacks, will be distributed to K-12 students during United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s Meet Up and Eat Up events.
