Americorps Member Helps Beautify Pittsburgh

Americorps VISTA member Bonnie Taylor serves as a Project Communications Coordinator for Community Action Southwest. During her time in Americorps, she has worked on numerous projects with Frontline Families to benefit her local Pittsburgh community – including assisting with planning and executing the beautification project for the historic Arsenal Park. More than 250 volunteers participated in the project, which took place on 9/11 last year. Additionally, Bonnie helps with volunteer recruitment, trainings and grant-writing. She was also part of the team that produced a video spotlighting the impact Frontline Families has had in the Pittsburgh area.
