Sue Lord

Sue Lord is a longtime volunteer at the American Cancer Society in Venice, Fla.  A survivor of a rare sinus cancer herself, Sue has firsthand knowledge of the challenges those battling the disease face. Since 1999, she has served in a variety of roles, including local chair of the CPS-3 Cancer Prevention Study and lead for the Venice Relay for Life Event. She continues to serve as a team captain for the race, and her team has raised more than $60,000 for the event. In 2012, she recieved the Hope Award for her years of tireless dedication to helping raise awareness for the American Cancer Society.
