Mauricio Samano-Rivera

For 15 years, Mauricio has volunteered with community theaters in the Santa Cruz-area often for productions involving important social and political issues. A typical production requires 4 weeks of 16 hour weekends and four hour evenings Monday-Thursday, which he always makes time for outside his job and other volunteer efforts. He also volunteers with youth groups at St. Patrick’s Church, where he provides theater workshops and production assistance. At Bay Federal Credit Union he has served on the Community Support Steering Committee for 5 years, and is one of their most active community event volunteers.
