Eric Croucher

When one of his closest friends in college was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and needed a bone marrow transplant, Eric Croucher jumped in to help, recruiting donors and starting a Be The Match On Campus chapter at James Madison University. According to the National Marrow Donor Program, the prime age for new donors is between the ages of 18 and 44.

Rallying his campus around a cause, Eric’s work has created more hope for people facing life-threatening blood cancer. To date, Eric has helped add nearly 300 individuals to the registry through his efforts at JMU as well as at Johns Hopkins, where he is a starting his career as a medical professional. Thanks to Eric’s commitment, more volunteers are finding their opportunity to live out an important principle: that you get so much when you give.
