Recognizing
The Volunteer Center of the Virginia Peninsula is fortunate to be surrounded by numerous military installations including the Air Force, Army, US Coast Guard and the Navy. These military bases are wonderful community partners and provide our largest base of volunteers supporting over 175 local nonprofits, schools and local government programs. Our military volunteers know the true meaning of volunteering and are always ready to step up and help out. We salute our military volunteers for the difference they make everyday in our community and all over the world.
