Neil Bush



In 1980, Neil Bush worked with Amoco Production Company (now BP) in Denver, Colorado. Within the decade, he formed two independent oil companies, JNB Exploration and Apex Energy, which explored for oil in various states including Wyoming, Colorado, California, Michigan, and in Argentina.

In the 1990s, Neil diversified in the oil industry by becoming a part owner of Ultrafloat Corporation, a Houston-based company that supplies conservation equipment to oil field storage facilities. For the past 15 years through Interlink LLC, Global XS, and Global XS Asia, he has engaged in various international business development activities with a focus on Asia and the Middle East.

Neil first visited China in 1976 when his father was the Liaison Officer representing the United States in Beijing. His business and personal interests in promoting his father's legacy, and for building closer ties between the United States and China, have allowed for many return trips over the years.

Most recently, Neil has worked in China with his partner CIIC to promote industrial park development, property management, and internet businesses. In addition, He and his partners at Global XS Asia work closely with Shougang Holdings to promote mining and steel mill operations in Africa.

Neil has recently re-entered the oil and gas business by forming Nexus Energy in December of 2008. Nexus is actively developing international projects in Africa. It is also positioned to assist Chinese companies interested in diversifying into upstream oil and gas production. .

Neil graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. in International Economics and from the Tulane University Freeman School of Business with an MBA.
