Marilee Chinnici-Zuercher is President/CEO of FIRSTLINK, a Columbus-based nonprofit organization and affiliate of HandsOn Network encompassing volunteerism, information and
referral, as well as nonprofit capacity-building training and education. Prior to FIRSTLINK, Chinnici-Zuercher served as Deputy Director of the Ohio Department of Youth Services,
Correctional Services Division, responsible for Ohio's juvenile institutions, parole services and community programs. She was elected to Dublin City Council in November of 1999
and re-elected in November of 2007 to a third four-year term. In January of 2008, she was re-elected by Council to a third two-year term as Mayor.
She previously served as Chair of the Planning & Zoning Commission and on the Personnel Board of Review. Chinnici-Zuercher serves on the Boards of Points of Light Institute/HandsOn Network; Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission; Ohio Municipal League; the Joint Columbus and Franklin County Housing Advisory Board; IMPACT: Community Action Agency; Community Research Partners; and is a member of the Dublin A.M. Rotary and a volunteer for United Way of Central Ohio.
She is one of two Ohio representatives to the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Committee of the National League of Cities. She has conducted volunteer and nonprofit organizational trainings in a dozen countries and is a recipient of the YWCA Women of Achievement Award, Dublin Chamber of Commerce Spotlight Dublin Award, the National League of Cities Women in Municipal Government Leadership Award, Women's Federation of World Peace Award for Interracial, International & Intercultural Service and The President's Volunteer Service Award. Chinnici-Zuercher holds a B.S. in Political Science from Miami University and pursued graduate studies at Xavier University, Cincinnati.
